Civil Right and Discrimination

We have represented clients who have been discriminated against, racially profiled, falsely arrested, or unlawfully detained by law enforcement personnel. Some laws protect you from discrimination and make it illegal for government officials to deprive you of your constitutional and civil rights. You may be entitled to compensation for your damages, and we will negotiate or sue on your behalf.

Our attorneys have tried cases in federal court for excessive force and unlawful arrest. For instance, we negotiated a settlement when our client was stopped and arrested on account of his nationality by police, filed a federal lawsuit and reached a settlement with the State of Minnesota when Minnesota DNR officers violated the rights of Latino hunters, and sued Immigration and Customs Enforcement for unlawfully detaining people based on nationality and religion.

We take most civil rights cases on a contingent-fee basis, which means you owe us nothing unless we can recover money for you.
